There is one thing that can bring New Yorkers together in the nightmare that is the New York City Subway system: Cardi B. On Sunday, a Twitter user @mattwhitlockPM posted a video of MTA riders having an impromptu dance party to the rapper’s hit song “Bodak Yellow” at the Time Square station. In the video, people of all ages are seen dancing, singing, and having a blast underground. “Play ‘Bodak Yellow’ anywhere and a party will start, guaranteed,” @mattwhitlockPM captioned the video above. “@iamcardib brings the people together. #nycsubway” “Bodak Yellow” launched the newly-engaged Bronx na...

Queen Bey has a solid strategy for email security. “I have an email address I email [to get in touch with Beyoncé],” Sheeran told Entertainment Tonight of how his “Perfect” duet partner‘s email address “actually changes every week.” Speaking with at KIIS-FM’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball at the Forum in Inglewood, California, on Friday — where he took the stage with “End Game” collaborator Taylor Swift — Sheeran admitted that Beyoncé is incredibly good at “hiding” from the public. “It’s kind of what I aspire to be, I think,” he said. Sheeran also revealed that their song had been planned since M...

Darlene Summerville, carrying daughter Ka-mia, and other residents call Lemmon Street “the Forgetabout Neighborhood.” (Doug Kapustin for Kaiser Health News) BALTIMORE — Keyonta Parnell has had asthma most of his young life, but it wasn’t until his family moved to the 140-year-old house here on Lemmon Street two years ago that he became one of the health-care system’s frequent customers. “I call 911 so much since I’ve been living here, they know my name,” said the 9-year-old’s mother, Darlene Summerville, who calls the emergency medical system her “best friend.” Summerville and her family li...

BRUSSELS — British and European Union leaders said they were nearing a divorce deal even as divisions within fractious Britain kept them just short of a final bargain in negotiations Monday. The elements of the deal — which would be the most significant step in Britain’s exit from the European Union since it officially filed papers in March — appeared to signal an acknowledgment by British negotiators that they have scant leverage in the negotiation. On issues ranging from what Britain will pay before exiting to a special status for Northern Ireland, British leaders were being pushed toward...

NEW YORK (AP) — An ex-producer has sued former Fox News Channel personality Bill O'Reilly, claiming he violated a confidentiality agreement related to a 2002 settlement reached over his alleged mistreatment. The woman, Rachel Witlieb Bernstein, said O'Reilly defamed her by falsely suggesting publicly that claims against him were motivated by politics and money. Bernstein had complained about abuse, non-sexual in nature, by O'Reilly when she worked at Fox. She said Fox and O'Reilly misled the public by claiming that no one complained to a Fox hotline about his behavior. She said she talked r...

President Trump’s personal lawyer said Sunday that the president knew in late January that then-national security adviser Michael Flynn had probably given FBI agents the same inaccurate account he provided to Vice President Pence about a call with the Russian ambassador. Trump lawyer John Dowd said the information was passed to Trump by White House counsel Donald McGahn, who had been warned about Flynn’s statement to the vice president by a senior Justice Department official. The vice president said publicly at the time that Flynn had told him he had not discussed sanctions with the Russian...

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — The lawyer for a 27-year-old soccer coach accused of running away with a teenage girl says his client wants to return to Florida as soon as possible to face charges. Rian Rodriguez was taken into custody in suburban Syracuse on Friday night on a Florida charge of interference with child custody. He had a court hearing Monday to determine if he'd be extradited. Officials say the 17-year-old girl sneaked out of her home in Fort White, Florida, on Nov. 25. Her parents flew to Syracuse to get her Saturday. Police say Rodriguez had spent childhood vacations in the area. Off...
